This weekend I had the opportunity to take my kids to the fair. My original thought was “not a chance” this is not my thing, find someone else. Then, I thought, just do it maybe you will have a good time. 
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos and lose sight of the profound impact that perspective can have on our well-being. 

Maya Angelou, one of my favorite celebrated poet and civil rights activist, beautifully encapsulates the essence of perspective in her timeless words. As we navigate the intricate tapestry of our lives, let’s take a moment to reflect on Angelou’s wisdom and discover the transformative power of seeing the world through a different lens.

Maya Angelou once said, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” WOW, those words can hit hard sometimes! 

These words serve as a poignant reminder that our perspective is not merely a passive observation but an active choice. Life may throw challenges our way, but our response to them determines our experience. By shifting our mindset and choosing a positive outlook, we empower ourselves to navigate difficulties with resilience and grace.

In the pursuit of personal growth, Angelou’s words continue to inspire me daily: “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” This quote encourages us to embrace the transformative journey of self-discovery. It reminds us that every trial, every setback, is an opportunity for growth.
